Project Engineering (9Yrs) for Steam Turbine, Combined Cycle Power Plants & Compressor Projects:

• Single Point Engg Manager for the Customers for around 200 Projects.

• Plant System Engg,

• Piping Engg,

• Electrical  Design

• C&I Engg.

• Supply of Balance of Plant Equipment and

• Total System Integration of the Power Plant Equipment

Generator Product Engineering (26Years)

Position Held:    Head - Generator Engg & Commercial

• Responsible for the Prototype Design Development of Generators  upto 160 MW

• Responsible for Technology Transfer from Collaborators–Siemens, Germany

• Responsible for Indigenisation 

• Responsible for Shop Floor Support during Manufacture of Generators of  various Capacities using the Design  Philosophies  of the  Collaborators viz., Skoda (Czech)  and  Siemens  (Germany) upto 160 MW.

• Responsible for Field Engg Services to attend to the Site Problems

• Responsible for the Electrical System Studies

• Responsible for the Design and Supply of the following  Generator Auxiliaries upto 200MVA 15.75 KV Generators

  • Generator AVR Panels

  • Generator Control  &  Metering Panels

  • Generator Relay Panels

  • Generator Circuit Breakers

  • Terminal Boxes

  • NGR & NGT

  • Bus Ducts ( Phase Isolated and Phase Segregated)

• Responsible for Technical Meetings with Customers and Consultants

• Responsible for Site Support during Erection & Commissioning,Trouble Shooting

• Solely Responsible for obtaining the Module Design Documentation 200 MVA 15,75 KV Generator from Siemens, Germany and implementation of the same in BHEL

• Responsible for the Initiative to start manufacture of 270 MW Generators at Hyderabad Unit
